Trainee Gas Engineers
As part of your ACS domestic suite of gas training course, you will be required to undertake on-site work experience with a qualified gas engineer. This will provide in- depth introduction to gas work and installation, which will prepare you for both the practical and verbal examination.
Complete your ACS Gas Training work placement at More Heating Services Ltd. The practical experience you’ll get during your work placement will give you everything you need to start excelling from day one.
You will learn and understand the real time challenges of the job, as well as how to be fully compliant on all aspects of installing gas equipment at a very high standard.
Once you have successfully passed your ACS Gas Assessment and become a member of the Gas Safe Register, you can apply for a technical engineer job at More Heating Services Ltd.
As a competent technical gas engineer you will able to undertake the following jobs:
- Installation, Service and Repair of Domestic Ducted Air Heaters
- Installation, Service and Repair of Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances
- Installation, Service and Repair of Domestic Gas Fires
- Installation of Domestic Gas Meters
- Landlord Gas Safety Certificates
- Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems
- Work for insurance companies or housing associations.
- Complete Landlord Gas Safety Certificates.
- Complete maintenance work for letting agents.
- Provide boiler cover plans.
- Apply to work as a subcontractor for many other companies.
- Provide out of hours emergency call-outs
